1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a binding agreement between you ("the Dealer") and One Day Car (Pty) Ltd, trading as OneDayCar (ODC), the operator of PinPoint ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the PinPoint platform at dealerpinpoint.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the platform.
2. The Service
PinPoint provides a customer map intelligence platform that enables automotive dealerships to upload customer data, visualise geographic distribution of their customer base, identify hotspots and coverage gaps, compare data across multiple runs, and receive AI-generated insights and recommendations.
PinPoint is provided on a pay-per-run basis. There is no subscription. Access to the platform and data processing occurs only after a run has been paid for and confirmed.
3. Account Registration
- One account per dealership in the current version of the platform
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- Notify us immediately at pinpoint@onedaycar.co.za if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
4. Fees and Payment
4.1 Pricing
Runs are charged at a flat fee based on the number of unique customer records uploaded, as follows:

Extended data retention (24 months) is available at R500 per run for Starter through Enterprise bands. Extended retention is included at no additional charge for Group band and above.
4.2 Payment
- All fees are quoted and charged in South African Rand (ZAR) and exclude VAT
- Payment is required before a run is processed
- Payment may be made via Paystack (card or instant EFT) or by invoice on request
- Invoice requests are processed manually — runs will not begin until payment is confirmed
- All payments are final. No refunds are issued once a run has begun processing.
4.3 Referral programme
- Dealers may refer other dealerships using their unique referral code
- The referred dealer receives a 15% discount on their first run
- The referring dealer receives a 15% cash back payment via EFT once the referred dealer's first run is paid and confirmed
- Referral payouts are processed manually on the 1st and 15th of each month
- The referral programme applies to all pricing bands with no cap
- We reserve the right to withhold referral payouts where we suspect abuse or fraud
5. Data and Intellectual Property
5.1 Your data
- You retain full ownership of the customer data you upload to PinPoint
- By uploading data, you grant us a limited licence to process it for the purpose of delivering the PinPoint service
- We do not claim any ownership over your customer data
- We do not use your customer data to train AI models or share it with third parties beyond what is necessary to deliver the service
5.2 Your responsibilities regarding uploaded data
- You confirm that you have a lawful basis under POPIA to share your customers' personal information with PinPoint
- You confirm that your customers' data is accurate and lawfully obtained
- You indemnify us against any claims arising from your failure to comply with POPIA or any other applicable data protection law in relation to the data you upload
5.3 PinPoint intellectual property
- The PinPoint platform, including its software, design, algorithms, and AI models, is the intellectual property of One Day Car (Pty) Ltd
- You may not copy, reverse-engineer, resell, or repurpose any part of the platform
6. Data Retention and Deletion
- Standard retention: customer data is retained for 12 months from the run date
- Extended retention: customer data is retained for 24 months where this option has been purchased
- A 30-day warning email is sent before data expires
- On expiry, customer data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems
- Expired data cannot be recovered under any circumstances
- Run records (excluding customer data) are retained indefinitely for your account history
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload data that you do not have the right to share
- Use PinPoint for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to access, alter, or disrupt the platform or other users' accounts
- Reverse-engineer or extract the underlying algorithms or AI models
- Resell or sublicense access to the platform
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law:
- PinPoint is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied
- We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be accurate or complete
- AI-generated insights and recommendations are for informational purposes only and do not constitute business, marketing, financial, or legal advice
- We are not liable for any loss of profit, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use the platform
- Our total liability to you in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to PinPoint in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim
9. Termination
- You may close your account at any time by contacting pinpoint@onedaycar.co.za
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or if we believe your use poses a risk to the platform or other users
- On termination, your customer data will be deleted in accordance with our retention policy
- Outstanding amounts remain payable on termination
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify registered dealers by email with reasonable notice before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of PinPoint shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
We encourage you to contact us first at pinpoint@onedaycar.co.za before pursuing formal dispute resolution — most issues can be resolved quickly and informally.
